Grandmother's Pound Cake

Our mom and grandmother, Joan Milam, would make her famous pound cake for all the family get togethers. We all couldn’t wait to get a slice once she pulled it out of the oven! Since her passing, her grandson, Michael, has taken the coveted role of being the pound cake baker. It took him many attempts before finally winning the seal of approval from Joan. He even baked the cake in this photo!
