In accordance with guidance from the CDC and state/local mandates, customers who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are welcome to shop in a Milam's Markets store without a mask. Unvaccinated customers must continue to follow our face mask policies.

We are still requiring customers to wear masks and practice social distancing within the store. As a family business, and for the safety of our employees and community at whole, we deem preventative measures to be necessary. Please check back to this page for further updates. Thank you for your patience and patronage with us during this time!
Beginning September 27, 2020, our stores will operate under normal business hours. Please check our store locations page for current opening and closing times.
For individuals that are 65+ or those that are classified as most at risk by the CDC, we encourage you to shop when we first open for the day so that we can best accommodate you during the least crowded time.
Food & Wine Sampling
Out of caution, we are suspending all food, wine, and beer sampling for the time being.
We will continue to receive deliveries from our suppliers and continue to stock our shelves as best we can. With that said, we do not have an available schedule of deliveries as to when items such as eggs, milk, and paper products will be delivered to the store. We have placed limits on essential items in the store to allow all customers a chance to purchase for their family. Please only buy what you need for your family during this time so that our community has the opportunity to provide for their families.
Protecting our customers and associates
We have made our cleaning and sanitation protocols even more rigorous and are routinely sanitizing surfaces such as payment terminals, door handles, shopping basket handles, conveyor belts, counters, and much more.
We have added hand sanitizer to every checkout lane and ensuring there are disinfectant wipes available at the entrance of all stores.
All of our registers are equipped with plexiglass sneeze guards to protect our associates and customers.
As of April 6th, all Milam’s associates are required to wear facial covering. We also ask that our customers wear proper facial coverings, following the CDC guidelines, when entering our stores.
What Can Customers Do?
- Please cover your nose and mouth with a facial covering before entering the store. Click here for more information on cloth face coverings.
- We have disinfectant wipes at the entrance of all stores. Please only take ONE wipe and use it to wipe your basket handle and your hands. In order to have enough for all customers during this uncertain time, we are asking that you please respect the "one wipe" rule.
- Practice Social Distancing. Please create enough space for two shopping carts (about 6 ft) between you and the person in front of you.
- Do not touch public surfaces, such as counters, and refrain from touching your face.
- Wash your fresh, unwrapped produce with soap and water when you get home.
Online Grocery Delivery through Instacart
Due to increased demand with our delivery partner, Instacart, delivery times may be impacted. Please plan ahead before placing your orders and do so several days ahead of when groceries are needed. All questions regarding your online orders must be made to Instacart directly. You can reach their team at email@example.com or 1(888)246-7822.
Product Availability and Pricing
Due to the sudden increase in demand on certain products caused by COVID-19, there is a high pressure on suppliers to keep up. We are doing our best to keep our shelves stocked with essentials, but, it is not uncommon for shortages due to suppliers trying to keep up with manufacturing and delivery.
We are unfortunately experiencing higher costs on some items with increased demand, such as meat and eggs, which may cause higher retails. We are doing our best to keep retails as low as possible and we hope the stress this is putting on our farmers and suppliers will be leveled out soon.
